Floor Coating Benefits
    Concrete has a relatively weak and porous surface that can wear rapidly.  It also contaminates easily when exposed to solvents, acids, oils, and other chemicals in high use areas.
    Contaminates contribute to additional weakening of concrete surfaces.  Coating concrete improves its performance and extends its life.
    Our resinous coatings make concrete surfaces more resistant to abrasion,  impact, thermal shock, and chemical spills.  They make floors easier to clean,  increase skid resistance, provide water proofing, anti-microbial protection, and improve aesthetics.

Surface Preparation Expertise
    Surface preparation is key to long-term floor performance.  If a floor is worn, cracked, or damaged by chemicals, we can most always restore it and save the cost replacing the existing concrete.  Surface preparation includes:
    Evaluation.  If a visual inspection shows deficiencies, we may do any of the following: 1) Surface elevation profiles to quantify flatness and warping.  2) Coring for strength testing.  3) Sounding for surface delamination.  4) Moisture and pH tests.  5) Petrographic examinations to identify concrete quality, reactive aggregates, contaminate depth, and depth of removal required.
    Floor preparation.  Depending upon findings, preparation may include spall repairs, crack repairs, expansion joint repairs, and milling to remove existing coatings or a top layer of concrete.  Dust free shot blasting the surface is the final step to profile the surface and remove loose aggregate to ensure a tight bond to the coating.
    Our state of the art equipment prevents plant contamination and disruption.  This is critical for the pharmaceutical and food industries.  It conforms to environmental standards for other work sites.
